Indoor Sales Executive

Job Description

  • Assist in preparing quotations, including costing calculations, lead time calculations, review of drawings, technical specifications and commercial terms.
  • Issue quotations and obtain feedback from customers on our quotations.
  • Sales Order Creation and provide clear instructions on order requirements to other departments, in order to enable smooth order fulfilment.
  • Negotiate and solve problems after orders are closed e.g. due to delays, quality issues, change in requirements, payment disputes, etc.
  • Document and acknowledge customer instructions for order variations and deviations.
  • Monitor orders to control costs, update customers on order status and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Expedite and escalate orders to internal and external stakeholders as necessary, to minimize any delay to customers.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years indoor sales experience, preferably in bolting, piping, structural steel or similar industry.
  • Matured and independent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Table etc.)
  • Diploma or higher Education in any field.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Willing to work in Tuas area.
  • 5½ day working week (alternate Saturdays).
