Job Description

  • Day-to-day execution of the QC activities, including:
    • Supervising incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections
    • Detection, handling and disposition of nonconforming goods
    • Ensure proper usage and calibration of measuring equipment
    • Customer witness inspections
  • Day-to-day execution of the QA activities, including:
    • Generation of Product Quality Plans, Project Quality Plans, Manufacturer’s Test Certificates and other Quality documentation
    • Supplier evaluations and site audits
    • Audits from customers and certification bodies
  • Day-to-day execution of the OH&S activities, including:
    • Investigations of workplace incidents and accidents
    • Usage and certification of lifting equipment
    • Safety briefings, safety inspections and legal compliance evaluations
    • Audits from customers and certification bodies
  • Ensure compliance of the company’s QMS & OSHMS to the relevant legal/regulatory requirements and international standards.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.


  • Diploma or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quality Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of Quality and/or OH&S experience.
  • Prior experience with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, BC1:2012 Factory Production Certification, API Q1 (9th Edition), Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, Eurocode 3 (EN 1993-1-1), SSSS Steel Fabricator Accreditation Scheme, SCDF Fire Safety regulations, MOM WSH regulations, etc. preferred.
  • Able to converse in English and Mandarin, in order to communicate with local and overseas customers, as well as English- and Mandarin-speaking staff.
  • Able to write in English, in order to prepare QHS documents.
  • Willing to work in Tuas area.
  • 5½ day working week (alternate Saturdays).
