Job Description

  • Supervise and carry out day-to-day Purchasing activities for our bolting manufacturing and structural steel fabrication activities.
  • Review and negotiate pricing, lead time, commercial terms and technical requirements with suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and site audits in conjunction with QHS Department.
  • Monitor supplier performance to meet upcoming orders, and assess their ability to meet the company’s quality and delivery requirements.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.


  • 5-7 years work experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management in Construction or Manufacturing.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and Mandarin, in order to communicate with English- and Mandarin-speaking staff, customers and suppliers.
  • Willing to work in Tuas area.
  • 5½ day working week (alternate Saturdays).
